Re: WANT TO STUDY IN EGYPT...HELPP???confused smiley - 12 years ago

Wa alaikum assalam Sonya, I remember I replied to you a couple of weeks ago, yet my post has not been published . Anyway, for learning Arabic, you can hit the American University in Cairo (AUC) at Tahrir square, however it maybe a bit expensive. There are other cheaper educational centres if expense is a concern to you. As for accomodation and job, you can easily share a flat with a group of...

Re: Searching: Apartment in Cairo 11.02- 29.04. 2012 - 12 years ago

Hello Marc, Zamalek is really a good destination for expats to live in; calm, Nile-view, green and close almost to everywhere in Cairo (4 minutes to the down-town.) As for prices, really attractive compared to hotel prices. For example, you can pick a good flat to accomodate all the 5 of you for less than 100$ per day (would hugely be less as you're going to stay for almost full 3 months.) I c...

Re: what about Alaexandria? - 12 years ago

Hello Jasmin, It's a good shot in fact to choose Alexandrea to live in, me myself prefer to fly away to there in my weekends or summer vacations. As for flat rental prices, prices are fine most of the year, except in the summer period (June, July and August); as Alexandrea is a costal city and people from around Egypt run to it once summer starts, and prices jump madly accordingly . If you gon...

I can feel how you feel, to never see your beloved father or even remember how he looks like... since when had he left? and how old he's suppoed to be in the time being??? I guess you might need to visit the Birth Register department in Port Sa'eed.. that's the proper thing to d, and it's worth indeed if you find what you 're looking f...

A correction! - 16 years ago

Sorry man, I meant this price isn't difficult to find in Cairo, but NOT OFF-COURSE in rich districts like Zamalek, Garden City, Mohandseen, or parts of Nasr City & Maadi, still it's available in number of districts inside Cairo, which means it's handy off-course in 6th of October.. Assalamu 3laikum Daud - 17 years ago

Well, you 'll need to search for a while to get an appartment with this price. Anyways, it WON'T be a furnished one. However, you can have both the Not-furnished flat + housekeeper for not less than 200$ per month, which means u will need to have 2000$ at least to furnish that appartment with moderate furnitures. As for living here as a foreigner, u will need to get not less than 200$ monthly to ...

Once, .... - 17 years ago

Once, a kid has lost his mother in the market, he kept crying untill a man sympathized with him and asked what's wrong him. "I 've lost my mother", replied the kid. So, the man kept searching for the mother of the kid, but in vain. Whenever the man says "Why don't u go with any of these beautiful, rich, dandy ladies as if she were ur mother?", the kid refuses with tears in ey...

(If I were in your position, I would NEVER hesitate taking the first plane back to Egypt) You know rere, once, I travelled abroad for 1 month, however that country was richier and more harmonious than Egypt, I felt there was something missing, something that can be hardly described; maybe the taste and hidden/obvious beauty of Egypt.
