Hi Jesse-I just found your post on Buruburu-thanks for the great info.-sorry I didn't get back to you but I hardly ever check into this forum because of travel. My friend, a white man, did find a house in Buruburu. He teaches at a small bible college in Kayole so it's convenient and what he can afford. I actually visited him last year and stayed for a month. Hi I saw you info on the guesthouse-what is it called and do you offer monthly rates for couples? My husband and I need a place for the month of March but have been offered small apt. for about the same rate your place would be if paying your daily rate of $18US per day=$540 month. Hi Kenny-this is a great post about Buruburu. I have a pretty basic question: Are there any whites living there and if so are they accepted or simply tolerated. The reason I am asking is that I have a offer to rent a house there for 4000ks which is considerably less expensive than Westlands. Since I am white I want to feel comfortable in my own skin. We are considering starting a small bible college at Siavonga or another town near the Zimbabwe border because it is close to the groups in Zimbabwe that we have been working for the past few years.
