I am Kenyan and you could bliss through the country with ease but its important to know your entry point to be able to advise. The only area without s proper highway is the north eastern. The road north to sudan is not so bad but safety is something one needs to confirm but from Kitale to departure point Namanga border through Nairobi is ok.
