Im thinking of going with my wife to a lodge in the rift valley (about 2.5 hrs drive from Nanyki). I am trying to figure out what are the dangers of driving 5 hours from Nairobi airport to the rift valley... I understand is all highway up to Nanyki and then rougher roads up to mount kenya. Also, we were thinking of going from Nanuki to Naivasha to another lodge after that and then go back to Nairobi international airport to catch our plane back home. The question is... is it safe?
