Places to visit in Cairo

Hi.

I will spend 5 days in Egypt as part of my honeymoon vacation. We are planning 2 days in Cairo, 1 in Giza/Saqqara, and 1 in Luxor. For the 5th day, we figure we don't have enough time to go to Sinai or Aswan/Abu Simbel. Instead, we are thinking of taking a day trip to Alexandria or spending an extra day in Luxor.

Any advice?

hello dear congrats for marrige and hope is not late my advice
if you have 5 days in egypt then it would be this way as you are a new marrige
1st giza , sakkara , at night flight to luxor .
2nd will be all of luxor , night flight back to cairo ,
3rd would be desert oasis ( black and white desert ) night safari camping .
4th back to cairo at night visit khan elkhalely bazar
5th over day to alexandria and back to cairo at night ,

Egypt is a nice place to spend your honeymoon in, although 5 days would not be enough to visit all the places in it. Cairo is one of the most interesting places that you can enjoy your time in. You can visit the citadel, khan El Khalili and many other places.
