Answer question How to go From Cairo to Bahariya by Bus

Can anyone advise me on how to get from Cairo to Bahariya Oasis - preferably by bus? Is there some timetible on the Internet? Do I need to reserve the seats in advance?
I understand I have to get on the bus at Turgoman station - how to I get there?

Advice on budget but clean/safe accommodation in Cairo would also be appreciated.
