Info on Nairobi

I live in Canada and the company that I work for has offered me a job in Africa. The 2 locations I have to choose from are Nairobi and Johannesburg.I need advise from people who have actually lived or been to both of these places. Which of these places is the safest for a family to live and also,any other insite that you can provide would be appreciated. The information I have been reading on various websites seems to be conflicting with each other, so I would appreciate some unbiased opinions. Thanks

I can advice you about Kenya if you give the environmental,polical and economic situation of which you would to live in.
In Kenya there is higher level of security.

I have lived in both cities and know both very well. My husband is American and works for Reuters and so we have seen both cities. I would advise you to come to Nairobi as it is indeed the best place to see, work and experience Africa.
You'll also have lots of friends here, plenty of Canadians as well.
