I am looking for family connections.
I was born in Asmara, Africa under the name
Michelina in 1962. My mother, Antonietta Zigheuoini Terfe married an american soldier, Fred William LaCaze, in 1967 or 68 who then adopted me,thus changing my name to Patricia Anne LaCaze. We moved to America in 1968.I had a brother my the name of Andriano who was hit by a truck in Africa when I was 6 years old
and he was only 4 years old.
I would like to know who my family is. Or any information on how I could find out, ie; hospital records, etc. THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!!

It would help if you specified which country in Africa. There is an Asmara in Ethiopia. Is that where you are from? If that is the case, most children are born at home, hospital and/or city birth records were generally not kept then. Your best bet would be locating the churches in Asmara. They do keep records of baptisms or births.

I always thought Asmara was actually in Eritrea - maybe there's also a place in Ethiopia named Eritrea but I've not heard of it.....
