rents are coming down - you can spend anything from 1000US to 4500US. The mid range of about 2000 - 2500 will get you a good house. or a fairly good furnished 3/4 bedroom apartment fully furnished. The trick is water and power. you need live in an aerea where there is a constant water supply, or you end up forking out 40US per week for a truck with 10000l. the power here is getting better but you do need a standby generator of about 15kva that can run AC units - or you will die in summer. There are cheaper places to live but with zero amenities and in not great suburbs - you can contact Knight Frank Properties, they are the larger property people with a big portfolio - or the net - there are about 10 other agents. You need to deal with the larger ones as you need to have recourse. Most rents are paid between 6 and 12 months up front.
