Marrying in Zanzibar :-)

My fiance and i are South Africans living in the UK on ancestral visas. We would like to marry in Zanzibar in July.
Could you please advise on the best way of going about it.

To marry in Zanzibar or mainland Tanzania you will need to get a certificate of no impediment for both partys to prove that you are not commiting bigamy <img src="[www.africaguide.com]]
this should be checked by the Tanzanian high commision or embassy in the country or origin.
Then you need someone at the other end to post the banns at least 3 weeks before due date of marriage.
The costs are not high but you do need to prepare carefully and then its easy, i have done this for some clients before <img src="[www.africaguide.com]]
