I am moving from Oakland, California to Ifrane in August and have read the there is trout fishing in the mountain lakes and streams. I wonder if anybody out there can give me any specific info. ANY information about area fishing or helpful links would be greatly appreciated. I'm packing rods and materials regardless. It would be nice to have some idea of what's out there. Thank You.

Rumor has it there is fishing around Ifrane--an Al Akhawayn faculty member used to go out with a rod and reel, I don't know if he caught anything though. The hiking is beautiful around Ifrane, and there are troops of barbary apes in the mountains outside of town.

Huckleberry--are you going to Akhawayn? I was there two years ago, it's intense.
