My husband and I are looking for an apartment to rent in Essaouira. We would prefer to be close to the medina and would definatley consider Ghazoua or Diabat
We need something with 1-2 bedrooms that is furnished, clean and comfortable
We are wanting to spend 2000-2500 per month. We have been offered a nice villa on the beachfront for 3000 per month but hope to find something a little bit cheaper

Presumably you are quoting the price in Dirhams, If you have found a beach front villa for 3000Dh per month, I'd take it. Do you want a place for the long term ? I am English & live in Essaouira I have a friend(American) who might be able to help you, I can give you her email if you send me yours. Sorry, I will not post it in the Forum.

I'm looking for a place to live in Essaouira. I can't afford to pay hotel prices, and am hoping for some kind of small apartment or house-share.

The two words are 'cheap' and 'internet', for work.
