Customised tour

Hi,
My husband and I are planning a 14 days trip to Morocco (23rd Dec till 5th Jan).

Can someone please tell me if this is a good time to visit Morocco? What are the activities that we could plan at this time of the year in Morocco? Any suggested itineraries?

Morocco is good to visit all year round and is a popular Christmas destination although in the mountains it will be cold.

Thanks for your tips!Very useful...

We would like to split our trip into 2 parts:
1. Desert safari - for 6-7 days
2. Imperial City tour(Casablanca, Marrakech, Fez etc) - for 7-8 days

We would like to experience the different kinds of accomodation that Morocco offers - tents in the Sahara, plush riads, Berber hospitality etc.

Any specific tour operator that you can suggest who will be able to help us? Do you know of any good itineraries?
