We are planning to go to Mauritius for eight weeks during my maternity leave. My husband, our eight months old son and me.We do not want the location to be too isolated, as we have to baby sitt most evenings. We do need to stay somewhere nice where we can sitt outside in the evening and in the morning. We would be grateful for recommandations of location or a specific place that could be suitable.

I dont know why you are going to Mauritius, but a place that is isolated but in Mauritius is anywhere isolated. In a hurry you can always go by taxi.
Try la Colombiere .

The apartments are lovely, fresh clean on the beach. A family run plce. Many people fromthe local islaands stay here so you dont get the upmarket hony moon crowd here. Really family.
