Does anyone have information about the Cote D'Azur Hotel GrandBaie/Pereybere? It looks very nice and the price is right, but I wonder is it be to good to be true.

it is just opposite the beach of pereybere, you must pass the street, but no problem.

it is a small hotel, but really nice and good furnitured

The rooms to the street , there you can hear the traffic, but not disturbed very much,
you have a nice view to the ocean.
There are also rooms to the small garden inside.

for the price really a good choice

in front of the hotel, is a moneychanger,
with the best change in the country!!!!

Anne I totally agree with you. I have stayed there myself with my wife. what I did like also is where the hotel is situated; Pereybere. There is so much choice of restaurants 15 plus if I am not wrong and the beach, in front of Cote d'azur hotel is probably the most beautiful beach in Mauritius.

Anne your link is different to the hotel link I have http://www.hotels.inmauritius.mu, 2 different site. Maybe one of the 2 is an old one! Anyway both sites are interesting and informative.

I discovered, last year, a beautiful exclusive guesthouse http://www.chantemer.mu. The owner, Indra, is charming and the setting is just a clichee!

We just went to Mauritius in July - I do not recommend this hotel at all. Cote D'azur at Grand Baie across from Pereybere. Stayed in the so called 2 bedroom bungalow-according to their web site. It was not a bungalow at all - it was an old run down 2 bedroom apartment - gross washroom. Also stayed in the hotel room - stinky and noisy as it is by the road. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else! Very disappointed.
