hotels in the north

Does anyone know anything about the la pirogue hotel especially getting married there. I know it has been refurbished in 2003, has anyone been there since this? and is this hotel a good place weather wise to visit in july and september (haven't decided which yet) ? I would really appreciate any comments anyone can give THANK YOU!

i've not been there lately .. but i got good feedback. What i can say for sure is that the month of july september.. is not a good idea.

La pirogue is in the west of the island , yet for this time its preferable to stay in the north. If you got the chance opt for the an establishment in the north of the island !
thats my piece of advice ,

best season would be january ,feb , nov ... for west part. or the water will be quite cold and a little windy !
