Re: Spouse of a Mauritian Citizen- Work permit

Good day Everyone

I am an Indian citizen married to a Mauritian citizen. We got married in the UK and lived together in the UK. I now live in India and intend to relocate to Mauritius in August 2014.

I know I am eligible for a Residence permit by virtue of my wife being a Mauritian citizen. I'm trying to figure out if I am eligible to look for work in Mauritius based on this residence permit. Also is there a specific website where I could find information on the fees payable as well as the time it takes to obtain a residence permit.

I have been looking for this information, but have not been able to find accurate information anywhere.

Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
