Equatorial Guinea has a tropical climate, and hot and humid all year round. The raining season is from April to January and humidity is high at this time. The country suffers from occasional severe windstorms.

There are several banks in the main cities where you can change money but no facilities for using credit cards. Money can be wired through the SGBGE (Societe Generale) bank in Malabo.

Air

The local airline has flights been Malabo and Bata every day apart from Sundays.

Bus

On the mainland fairly regular minibuses travel along the main coastal road between Bata, Mbini, Acalayong, and inland between Bata and Ebebiyin. Bush taxis are available between Bata and Mongomo and Bata to Evinayong.

On Bioko, good bush taxi connections run between Malabo, Luba and Riaba.
