Mauritian companies are not so huge to cater for a lot of foreigners, with this said I don't know how easy it would be to get a job here!!!...

Re: moving to mauritius - 13 years ago

For future readers, Mauritius is a country for Mauritians!!! If you want to indulge in business with us, we are more than happy to do business with you. If, however, any one of you isn't happy with so...

Just like someone mentioned above, to open an optical store is risky since there's already a lot of competition. All the optical stores in Mauritius have their own optometrist, as for hospitals and clinics, they also got their share. Nonethele...

In response to Anonymous User All Abt Expatriates In Mauritius. August 29, 2004 05:37AM Well all I got to say if you are not happy how things are in Mauritius, you know the way out of my country. I don't like the idea of having a lot of immigrants myself since my island can offer so much. I think there are better options out there such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, US, England etc. I...

Re: M.b.b.s. admission - 13 years ago

With all due respect Rajarshi, how do you know it is easy to get into medical university in Europe and that it would be cheaper than SSR? Are you living in any European country? As for USMLE, trust me in North American countries the exam is not only hard, but very expensive. North American countries accept doctors who studied in Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Ireland etc. The standa...
