Hello Apoorv, Have you considered Australia? or UK? I know for sure there you would get in w/o any difficulty. If I were you, I would consider those options!!! Hello Dr. Hussain, Have you been able to get your work permit to work as an optometrist? I believe you would still have to apply to the medical council. Just like someone mentioned above, to open an optical store is risky since there's already a lot of competition. With all due respect Rajarshi, how do you know it is easy to get into medical university in Europe and that it would be cheaper than SSR? Are you living in any European country? As for USMLE, trust me in North American countries the exam is not only hard, but very expensive.
