Hi JohnnyO It not that expensive to buy/build in Mau. BUT you must have a good contractor who is reliable and you should be on the spot most of the time. Hi The company in Eben Cyber Tower is a good IT company. You can live on Rs. 30,000/40.000 in Mauritius. The island is not big so you can travel easily by public transport or you can buy a car. Food are not too expensive, it depend how you manage yourself. You can get a flap for Rs. 15,000 per mt. I can get you a flat by the end of Dec. or Jan.2010.
