traveling to Nairobi November 2005 - tips wanted!

Hey!

I'm a 27 year old physical therapy student from Finland. I'll be doing a practice field from school in Nairobi during November and December 2005. A friend will be traveling with me.

Now I would like to get some information about everything!

- How is weather in Nairobi during November / December? I've heard it's kind of rainy in November. Does it rain much? What kind of clothes should I bring with me? Is it chilly when it rains?

- Where's the best night life? And how do I travel at night? I know the answer is by taxi.. but how can I know which taxi driver to trust? Can I ask someone to pick me up at certain time from the club?

- Which places in Nairobi should I visit?

- And which places outside of Nairobi? Mombasa? Best safaris?

All the information is very welcome! Also, if there are some young Europeans living in Nairobi, I would love to meet you when I get there.. I know it's still 7 months to go.. but I'm already very excited!
