What next?

I did the forums, created the blog, written so many articles and poems but i feel so far from the mark.
Finding the link between your work and your market/audience is a strain. Does anyone have any ideas how one can better get your self published books to the right audience? Perhaps there might be something else you've discovered which i might have overlooked. Holla back.
