Writing competition- please help.

I'm writing an article for a competition that has to be on a certain topic about a deveoping country.
I'm writing one on how it would be like to live on $2 or under a day and my dad said I should look at Zimbabwe.
I was wondering if I could have any information, esspecially about jobs, working hours and such. And maybe about shopping in Zimbabwe and what people could get for $2.
