Re: Zanzibar hospitals

Hello, I am an Australian medical student planning to do an elective early next year followed by some touristy life. Unguja and Pemba both sound wonderful, but Mnazi Mmoja Hospital is way too large for my liking -- would anyone be able to give me a synopsis on any smaller hospitals? For example, Kivunge Cottage Hospital on Unguja, or Wete Hospital, Micheweni Hospital and Chake Chake Hospital on Pemba. I can't find any websites for any of them!

I'm also a medical student in Australia and was wondering if you ended up doing your elective in Zanzibar? I'm looking at doing an elective at the end of the year and was interested in some of the smaller hospitals but can't find anything about them!
