Moneymatters in Africa

Can anybody give some information about what is best to use; cash, travellers´cheques, credit cards? Which credit cards are useful in this country?

Hi I am leaving the uk on 12 May for a week in windhoek I shall be taking a small amount of SAR which is the unitary currency along side the Nabian Dollar and of course a visa Credit card, any thing else can alway's be arranged with your bankers such as additional cash withdrawals---I am really looking forward to my visit and I have waited a very long time for this moment,regards---Rod
