Windsurfing Statistics

Hey everybody! Can someone tell me how the wind and the waves in Mauritius are during the month August, September and October? I would like to spend some month windsurfing there. And what would be best: Can you rent or buy a car and sleep in the car, or are there cheap rooms to rent?
