Hi! I hope the kids are fine. Say hi to them. Nairobi is a safe place. There are stories about unsafety and stuff, But Nairobi is actuall one of the safest cities in Africa. O.k depending on where you choose to live, there are those bad areas ofcourse, and you have to be aware of them.As for your kids they will grow up good and safe.It is a very impersonal city. Hey! Welcome to Kenya. Basically your fears are unfounded. Animals generally live in the bush and ofcourse you are going to the Bush to see them. There are very very few and extremely rare that floods will cause parks to be closed. Well I have several options for the vehicle. Naturally this is an overland trip. I blieve it would be fair to plan the detailed itinerary after receiving a sizeable interested members, But i can say that Us$26 per day will sufficiently cover fuel and insurance costs while suggestions are open to what and how the members can spend the rest of their money.
