Nairobi Housing June-August - 11 years ago
I will be interning at the UN mid-June to mid-August and am looking for housing. I am a grad student in my late 20s from the US and, from New Zealand, will be joining me for at least part of the summer. We are looking for an apartment for both of us, preferably near the UN complex. I arrive in Nairobi this weekend and begin work the week after. Hi Marte: I am a graduate student from the US and will be working at the UN this summer (June - Aug 12). I secured housing in Gigiri, but when I found out my husband can join me for at least part of the time two weeks ago, the landlord wanted to charge a steep fee per day that my husband was at the house (higher than and in addition to what I paid).
