Is there a chance of malaria? Yes but very small. Just to for warn you..though I am sure you are very competant, Gaborone is flooded with restaurants these days. Its seems like there is one closing or opening on a weekly basis. Airport is not the place to get a visa - 18 years ago
Though the aiport is nice enough..if you neeed something done that day its not going to happen. If you are just visiting all you need is a passport and an address of where you are staying.
