Any Architect Jobs out there? - 15 years ago
Hi, They say that an architect is as good as what he has seen.Am looking to work in a different environment from Nairobi, Kenya, just to be in touch with what everyone is doing elsewhere.I have a B.Arch Degree and 2yrs working experience.I use AutoCAD and ArchiCAD mostly.Anyone who kows how and where i can venture to better my experience please let me know.Thanks. ...by albert in: Work Wanted in Africa Forum

Yes agents are not usually good.some are genuine though..but u would not know the difference since u r far away.hey mail me on the 'send me an email link' ....we need to discuss the options for things to move fast.don worry.am sure we'll get some thing sorted out. the problem with the university area is that the houses are single family homes and not apartments.am like 200m from it.!!u can get ...by albert in: Kenya Travel Forum

Hi, hope yu r having a fab holiday.well i checked with my friend who unfortunately has given his out today..arrrgh imagine that.!! I found several but guys are charging deposits and downpayments, yet they are just agents.I dont think it would be wise to give anyone money till u r sure what u ar dealing with.and pls beware of some pple who jus take advantage.but guess what?..all is not lost.I go...by albert in: Kenya Travel Forum

Hi , am albert and happen to live along lower kabete rd.where are u volunteering?its a bit hard to get apartments along lower kabete, but will ask a friend if his guest wing is free.Otherwise, u may have to get one in westlands, which is not too far away..and u can use the 118 / 119 matatus.i will check for u the rates.last i checked it was abt 30-35k but this was like last yr so am not sure. ...by albert in: Kenya Travel Forum

Hi, it is good to know that u r getting an offer to work in Nairobi.Houses are of vrying range in price.Main thing to consider is location of work, then i can help u with the best area to live in so that u can avoid traffic and be near school for children and other facilities like shopping.do u have an i dea of which part of Nairobi your office will be based?... ...by albert in: Anything Africa

I think your child will be ok in a private school.Its a matter of where u will live so that the child is near school.Otherwise there are so many good ones.check the following, brookhouse school kabete juniour academy braeburn group of schools, peponi school, Banda school. if they are not what u want, let me know . good luck ...by albert in: Anything Africa
