South Africa in August - 18 years ago

Hi, I'll be travelling (probably alone) thru South Africa in August from around the 7th until the 17th of 2005. I'll start out in Jo'burg and the only thing I know I'll absolutely do is go to a game preserve (Kroger perhaps?). I'd rather not go it alone, so if anyone else will be in the area around then and wouldn't mind a tagalong (I can pay my way), please let me know!! ...
