Safety in Zimbabwe - 19 years ago
I am planning a trip that includes a 2 night visit at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. I am very concerned about personal safety, as warned by the current US State Department travel warnings about Zimbabwe. Has anyone been there recently? If you're traveling to Africa to see wildlife and the lodges are too expensive for you, try renting a house at Marloth Park on the border of Kruger Park. Most are very affordable and you get the full big 5 experience! I found that property is also very cheap here, under $10,000 for a large vacant plot in the bush! ...by richard in: Anything Africa
