Cape Town is just great, rated in the top 5 cities in the world on numerous occasions - Table Mountain, VA Waterfront, Robben Island, Hout Bay, Kommetje, Wine Routes in Stellenbosch and Franshoek, great nightlife. Garden Route traveling on the east coast from Cape Town visit places like Knysna and Jeffreys Bay amongst many others. Trains and buses are very cheap to European and American standards. Just don't do a; I need to be at Vic Falls on a certain date kind of thing, as this is Africa and anything can happen. Do take the highest class ticket that you can get, you won't regret the extra cost.
