I seem to agree with Sarah on most things South African. The country is great and it's education system is fantastic (especially if you're black). I know of numerous of UK based black families who are packing off their little ones to South Africa for the sole reason that they see eye to eye with the South African notion of school born discipline, which is now sadly absent in the UK. I've been dreaming of coming to South Africa for years (10 years to be exact). I first came to SA to document SA's first democratic election and I've been in love with the country ever since. I'm also already well versed in the views of South Africa as portrayed by Cassandra, which are true but alas do not paint a FULL PICTURE. I will be living in Nairobi for a few years and am worried about the same stuff. Probably more so than you considering I am a 25 yr old girl. I am excited though. I just wish I would quit hearing bad things about Nairobi. ...by JC in: Kenya Travel Forum
