Be prepared for a wait at immigration, there are often long queues and not enough officials. Trains from the airport to Cassa Voyagers station take 45 minutes, I think they run hourly, From Cassa Voyagers to Marrakech takes 3 hrs 15 Min's, and leaves every 2 hours. Hello Sallyann, I am the lady who was renovating in Essaouira almost 3 years ago. Our experience has been good except for a neighbour from HELL, who for what ever reason is determined to make life uncomfortable for us. Weaker people would move on, but we will not. Depending where you go you may need to plan your meal times, Breakfasts are not readily available in some guest houses, so buying bread, eggs, jam etc late at night and self catering is a good idea.
