Hi guys here i come again there is ferry from ZNZ pemba to tanga so then you can take bus to mombasa from tanga which i about 4 hrs drive to mombasa. Anyway there is no discount to wazungu speaking swahili but as you can convice the person you want discount from you will always get a discount even if you dont speak swahili cos most things here you can negotiate the price so it just a matter of negotiating. have you been here before? how to travel Zanzibar-Mombasa-Dar - 19 years ago
Hi Beata I dont know much about Zanzibar but all I know is you can get a speed boat from Dar to Zanzibar at around $10-$15. And from Dar to Mombasa there are buses everyday you can board one for $10-$15 as well it takes about 6hrs by bus from Dar to Mombasa.
