I am doing slow scale importing into Australia. Iam mainly interested in jewellery. I dont do wood as Africa is fast being depleted of its wood. When I stayed at La colombiere last year folk came over from Reunion island for their friends wedding. It was lovely. Not a big place but away from the traaps, beautiful peaceful and cosy, homely and great staff. Contact me if you are needing further info. Dear traveller, I did not stay at Indian but visited a park next to the hotel. Mauritiaans are not allowed to go onto those properties. But we went with my Mauritian friends to this beach next tothe hotel. It is a beautiful setting at the southern end of Mauritius. There are local busses from there to the capital. I dont know why you are going to Mauritius, but a place that is isolated but in Mauritius is anywhere isolated. In a hurry you can always go by taxi. Try la Colombiere . trycolombe@intnet,mu. The apartments are lovely, fresh clean on the beach. A family run plce. Many people fromthe local islaands stay here so you dont get the upmarket hony moon crowd here. You have chosen a lovely place to go. It all depends on how isolated you went to get. La colombiere is not swank but nise. Self contained apartments. aand away from the tourist traaps. Grand baaaie is noissy and a bit sad.But if you like the night life stay near there. I was lucky and was put up by Air Mauritius on a rescheduled flight aand sspent the night at the Shandraani. Dear Joddie, Do be careful as there are scams . Peolpe sell land and when all is thought to be finalised and the money paid a member of the family comes and says he is the owner of the laand and the process is not legal. hi, I dont know where you live. Last year I checked out airfares. A round the world ticcket would with 10 stopovers would taaaake me to the places I wanted to go in Africa. I was travellingb from Aust. Malaysia aairlines, South African Airlines, Kenya aairways and a few others are involved.
