Heya Christian, I'm a final year medical student at the University of Queensland in Australia. I'm heading to Mauritius in two weeks (22nd May 08) to do 8 weeks at the SSRN hospital. To secure any placement you need to contact Ms Ooriah by phoning the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life. Try googleing it. I am hoping to organise a medical elective in Mauritius from May to July this year but was unsure as to who I should contact regarding the logistics of it all. I noticed some medical students posting note on the website about organising their electives a few years ago.
