Daughter's birth certificate - 13 years ago

Hi I am trying to obtain my daughter's birth certificate. She was born in Blantyre in 1977. We now live in Australia. She is trying to obtain a passport but can't without her birth certificcate which is lost. Can anyone help please? Many thanks Ocean Mim...
