There's really no word for wish, the closest i can think of is Pemhera which is pray.... So in Chichewa it be "Ndimapemhera ndinakakhala m'bambo, koma ndidakali m'nyamata" Hope this helps, not too sure about the spelling as i haven't been in Malawi for almost 10 years now, language tends to slide.......by Wawa Malawi in: Malawi Travel Forum

Globetrekker, I've read your posts and to some extent agree with your concerns in regards to Malawi. Greed has played it's part. However i also know that the governement at the moment doesn't want to flood the market with just foreign markets. There's a new website i know that's launching known as Wawa Malawi. Basically it's designed to fully inform tourists on whatever info they need about Malawi whether moving there, business, visiting etc....i know it launches in July 2010....Also there's sections for real estate covering the entire country.... they currently have a diary leading off to the launch...it @#$%&.wordpress.com.
