Travelling in Egypt in December

Hi all,

I am a female travelling to Egypt in late December for two weeks with 3 males, including my boyfriend. Does anyone have any "survival" tips? I'm told that as a western/aussie woman and a blonde, I could attract much unwanted attention. My travel agent told me that a wedding band may help?

yes, i agree that a wedding band will make a big difference. i have travelled to several countries, and a few islamic places, and in some places you will be arrested (or just not allowed to share a room) for being in a hotel room with a man not your husband (or a wedding band, lol)
which dates will you be in egypt? if you like, we could meet for coffee/ to share info.travel stories/ tips.
