New life in Egypt

Hello everybody!
I am from Romania and this summer I visited Egypt. I fell in love with the country, especially with Alexandria, and with the people. That is why I intent to move there to live and work, hopefully for the rest of my life. I want to know if there is any Romanian living in Alexandria that can help me adjust to my new life. I need some pieces of advice just to make this transition easier. Any help is welcomed. Thanks.

Uite si eu sunt romanca si locuiesc temporar la Cairo, dar sunt de origine din Alexandria....Teleorman. In fine, am dat peste anuntul tau si m-am minunat. Esti deja in Egipt? Ti-am lasat adresa mea de mail, daca vrei sa iei legatura cu mine. Daca te pot ajuta cu ceva...you're most welcome!!!!

ma numesc ela, sunt si eu romanca. am lucrat in hurghada timp de trei ani. acum m-am mutat in kuwait..

si repet: ai innebunit? !?!?!?!?!?

e adevarat, egypt-ul este o tara frumoasa, cu multe oportunitati. dar sa te muti acolo permanent?!?!?!

sfaturi:

1- daca vrei sa lucrezi in turism (singurul domeniu in care poti face ceva bani) du-te in hurghada ori sharm el sheikh.

2- daca observi, singurele mesaje primite de la localnici sunt de la barbati; ai grija !!!!! cat ai fost o turista, totul a fost ok. ca rezidenta insa , te vor privi altfel. si nu e "bine-altfel"

3- gaseste-ti un serviciu bun inainte sa pleci acolo. incearca pe net, la locatiile sus-mentionate. daca mai vorbesti si alte limbi straine (franceza, germana, italiana, rusa), si mai bine. agentiile de turism angajeaza mereu ghizi. incearca la: travco, blue sky travel. acestea sunt cele mai important firme de turism din egypt.

mai greu sa gasesti pe undeva caini cu covrigi pe coada... egypt-ul nu este pe lista....

si nu uita, egypt-ul este o tara in care poti face bani. dupa care te duci si ii cheltui in alta parte. strange-ti bani de casa, masina, zile negre....
apoi fa-ti planuri de viitor....
