Visiting Cairo ...

Hi! I am a 27 yr old Canadian Chinese gal planning to take one of those overland trips from Cairo to Istanbul during the middle of June 2004. I will be visiting Greece first but after realizing the prices there think I will proceed to Egypt quicker than I thought! I have some time before the tour and since I will be by myself - I am looking to find someone who is interested in making a new friend and showing me the best of Cairo! (preferably female) Please email me if you are interested!

Also - does anyone have any advice about this overland route and if it is dangerous? All my friends are warning me not to go ...

hello, im a french canadian living in cairo. I dont know about your overland trip but i can surely show you around cairo when you come! its very cheap here, 5 times cheaper than canada! you ll love it although its unbearably hot in the summer. good luck, and dont be afraid to live your dreams!
