hi,planning on an overland trip from uk to SA departing oct 01. what i need is a bit of info on a potential route through chad,sudan.what i need to know is wether tourists are doing this route successfully or not. thanks...jack

Dear Jack

Considering somthing similar but have been advised against all travel in Sudan, especially the south. Chad seems OK but north west is dodgy.

How are you planning to travel?
