Malawi Mocambique Visa

Who knows if the visa for an European (Italian) citizen to Malawi and Mocambique can be done at the arrival or at the border between the two countries ? (Malawi has an embassy in Brussel, it would be expensive to get a visa from there).

I´ve travelled in Mosambique and Malawi in 99. I don´t think you can obtained visas on the boarder.
The easiest way I think is obtained visa in some other African countries. E.g. Cape Town is pretty easy and cheap to obtaine visa for Mosambique. Visa for Malawi took me almost 3 weeks!!!

I agree with Premek. I was told by the Mocambique Embassy in Stockholm I would have to get it in South Africa. You probably would be able to get it in the Malawian capital as well. The only countries in that region I know of where you can buy the visas on the borders are Zimbabwe and Zambia.
