VEHICLE DOCUMENTS FOR TRAVELLING THROUGH AFRICA

I am planning a trip from South Africa via Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan to Egypt at the end of the year. I would appreciate any information to assist me in travelling through these countries in my own vehicle, as well as any information regarding routes and where to stay. We want to use Airbnb (?) and camp sites as we want to travel as light as possible. Any information on road conditions would be appreciated.
