Hello, Just curious, what kind of business can I start with 60K USD? My wife is from tanzania, we are thinking of moving there. I have some money saved and would like to start my own business. I was thinking something in the area of trannsortation. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dear Good people,

I am looking for a interested person whom we can partner to do some business or investment in Dar es salaam Tanzania. I was born in grew up in Singida Region, central Tanzania. I am holder of B.A and M.A degres from the University of Dar es salaam

I recentrly registered a compony, but have not really got started. I need a partner who could be ready to provide equity capital in the sense that of being ready to provide start up capital and he/she benefit from the investment or might be a loan with low interes rate

In my opinion, it is a good idea to start a small kitchen farm, it's can make a you a lot of money in Africa. I know what I am talking about. In the beginning You will need to invest a little bit but it's worthy.
It was just my idea. Anyway good luck

The best thing would be for you to come and visit for a couple of months and get a clear understanding of how business works here and where there are holes in the market for new enterprises (there are lots!).
