Travel to Muleba, Kagera

Hi

I am a young British girl who is travelling firsty across Africa but then needs to get back to Muleba in Kagera, Tanzania where I will be teaching.

I will be flying from J-Burg, Soouth Africa but needs some advice on easiest (and possibly cheapest) and most important safest way to get to Muleba.

I have been looking at flying into Kigali, woudl i then be able to get a bus from Kigali into Muleba? or close by and I may be able to get picked up from there?

ANy help would be greatly appreciated, it isn't until next year but I need a bit of an idea before I depart for Africa.

I think the easiest way would be to fly to Kampala, Uganda, and then go by bus to Bukoba (about 6 hours drive). From Bukoba there are many buses/ mini buses to choose from.
