Typical challenges of service providers in South Africa

Black owned service providers that have established themselves in the public sector are continually besieged with challenges when attempting to breach the private sector. These smaller concerns simply do not have the brand power to attract any substantial interest in the market place. Does Broad Based BEE not translate into developing these business relationships?
