need a lawyer / Adoul in morocco for advise

hello, does anyone know or can reccomend a good adoul/ lawyer who can advise on matters about Divorce, family law? I am a UK Citizen, married to a moroccan woman and now we are splitting up. Can she go to court and claim compensation for "hurting her feelings/ psychological trauma/. We initially got married in UK at a Islamic Centre ( mosque) and that certificate was used to than get morocan marriage papers.
since we are not agreed on the financial sum she wants i might have to take a chance and let the morocan courts decide on amount which is "fair".
Any ideas? or advise?

Well you call the results of walking away from someone whos trusted you with what is biblically a covenant promise as simply 'hurting her feelings'!

Is this all marriage means to you and the promise that you made? or is it a muslim thing or some privilege given to a man that he can enter marriage without taking responsibility for an oath, a promise and more than that a covenant between God and the couple?

Thankfully Moroccan law does support women better than ever before, and certainly miles better than many Islamic countries, and dont allow men to just suddenly decide - which do you realise how traumatic right down to the soul of a person that this is, more than merely an ok sudden decision to split up - and hopefully they will actually deliver to 'your wife' more than what you think is fair!

If you got married in an Islamic center, then there should be a marriage contract. You have to go by that contract. Is it in the contract that you are allowed to just walk away from the marriage with out counseling?Is there children involved? Is there a dowry written in the contract? Do you realize the stigma she will carry around being divorced if she goes back to Morocco(assuming she is in the UK right now)?I would advise anyone that wants a divorce, to stop and think about it, don't just jump in the divorce line along with everyone else. What part of Morocco are you looking for an abdoul?
